I now work Freelance in the education sector for several Universities and Colleges with the London area.  I am also active with the Parish as a Eucharistic Minister and was for many years an Altar Server and Master of Ceremonies."

Sophie Gale - Staff Governor

"I have worked at St Agnes for 12 years and have been a member of the senior leadership team for 8 years. During that time, I have been lucky enough to teach in various classes - 3/4, 3, 1/2 and 6 - where I am currently one of the class teachers. I have lead ICT and English across the school. Over my tenure as staff governor I have seen many changes. It has been very exciting and a privilege to be a part of it all. St Agnes’ is my second family and I truly believe that the staff and governors hold the children’s best interests at the heart of each decision. I look forward to continuing in being a part of the future of the school as we continue to grow in many exciting ways."

Susan O'Reilly - Head Teacher & Foundation Governor

"I have worked in Catholic Schools with the Westminster Diocese since graduating from St Mary's University in Strawberry Hill in 1993 - in the London Boroughs of Camden, Harrow & Barnet.

I have been both Deputy Head of two schools and Acting Head and am currently in the very privileged position of being the Head Teacher of St Agnes' Catholic Primary School since April 2014.  Working as part of a genuine community - where Governors, parents and staff all work together to ensure that our children have access to an outstanding Catholic education is key to our success.

St Agnes School is an inclusive and flourishing school, of which I am very proud to be a part of as we journey together into the next phase of our history and expansion of our school."

My background in education and my experience as a parent have provided me with the skills and knowledge to enable me to work effectively as a Parent Governor and help contribute to the further development of St Agnes' School. I am thrilled to be part of the St Agnes’s governing body and look forward to using my professional expertise, knowledge and experience to help improve parent partnership, the learning culture and educational outcomes for all pupils at the school."

Maria Tamayo - Parent Governor

"I have two children currently attending St Agnes' and have been a Parent Governor here since 2015.  After having worked for Management Consultancy firms for 15 years, I decided to set myself up as an Independent Consultant for the pharmaceutical industry 2 years ago, mostly working from home to enjoy more time with my family.  We have lived in Brent for 10 years".

Pamela Murphy

"I am a parishioner in St Agnes' Parish and was appointed as Foundation Governor to St Agnes in 2016.  Having attended local catholic schools myself, I qualified as a teacher and taught in a catholic primary school before moving into special education.  I am currently Head of School at an all age (4-19) special school in Westminster.

From a number of different perspectives, I am aware of the valuable role that an active Governing body can have in supporting the whole school community.  It is a privilege to be able to be part of the wonderful educational opportunities on offer at St Agnes'."
